Wood Newton Control Systems have worked extensively in the area of transportation, including waterways, aerospace, railways and roadways. We have hands-on experience in designing and manufacturing a range of MCCs, control panels, operator consoles, junction boxes and control pedestals for this sector. Past projects include the design, build and installation electronic control systems for drainage sumps in the UK rail network and also panels for signaling systems in the UK underground rail network. As with all our systems, a variety of enclosures are available to suit different environments and requirements. Mild steel, stainless steel and GRP enclosures are available in standard or bespoke shapes and sizes. Enclosures can be finished in a standard (RAL 7035) or bespoke paint finishes and IP ratings of up to IP68 are available. Depending on the application and your requirements, specialist handles and security locks can be included. For panel suites, we can provide interlocking or compartmentalized enclosures. Front/rear access and top/bottom cable entry can be incorporated and a range of accessories are available.
